HA HA... it's pretty laid back here, but we do have some excitement once in a while....

  • A lot has been going on, we are finishing up the renovations in the clubhouse and have started working on the barns and grounds. We have had some trees and tree limbs removed from the property, just in time for our first Tropical Storm! While the tree removal was a noisy and messy task, it sure was nice not to worry about the wind driving the tree limbs into the barn roof causing damage to the barn or worse any of the horses.

  • Summer Camp '07 is in full swing! The kids are having a great time and it sure is nice not to have to tell them to go to bed! They are so tired after a day of learning and working that now the big challenge is to get them clean before they fall asleep wherever they happen to be.



  • Internet access is available in the yard, close to the clubhouse and by the picnic tables near the arena. We will work to get more repeaters out for better coverage in the future. Just connect your wireless equiped laptop to the Dover Oaks network and enjoy checking your e-mail and the weather radar before your trail riding from the barn! I promise all the boarders that I will not let the horses know about the wireless internet, so they won't have to purchase laptops for them.




  • The sitting room is now open, if you are accompanying a youngster for a lesson or just want to get out of the heat feel free to come on in and take a load off. There is an excellent view of the arena from this spot so no worries about missing any of the fun in the arena! We will get furniture for it one of these days, so for now some of our nice plastic lawn chairs will do :)
